Corofin emerged winners of the 2015 Jim Harmon Memorial Tournament which was played in a wet and windy Páirc Finne on Sunday February 22nd. Jim Harmon (RIP) was one of the main men behind the purchase and development of the Páirc Finne site back in the 1980's.

Corofin's U-16 footballers proved too strong for the opposition, Wolfe Tones, and they emerged victorious on a final scoreline of 5-9 to 0-5. Corofin had the advantage of a strong breeze in the openig half, during which they racked up 4-8, while also managing to keep Wolfe Tones scoreless. A 5th goal just after the break put the result beyond doubt, but Wolfe Tones battled gamely to the end and scored 0-5 during the second half.

After the game, Corofin captain Liam McGrath was presented with the Jim Harmon Memorial Cup by Stevie Malone (Trophy sponsor), while medals were presented to both teams by Club President Donal Clancy.
